Foodie Flashback Guests

Page(/guests.md)

Thank you so much for agreeing to be a guest on Foodie Flashback!
This show is incredibly important to me and also a lot of fun. So first and foremost, I want you to have fun recording with me too.

Below are a few helping pointers, so it can be a successful show:

  1. Use a separate microphone and headset. Any headphones will do as long as it keeps my voice out of your microphone. A standalone microphone is ideal, but if the environment permits it (see also #2) you can also use your smartphone’s headphones (e.g. EarPods) or AirPods.
  2. Please try to find a quiet environment. It just helps with you being more relaxed and also makes it easier for our listeners to follow. Some people record in their closets, some in their bedrooms, some in their cars. It’s really up to you, where you feel you’re at your best.
  3. Have Zoom installed. You don’t need an account, but you need to have it installed as we’ll use it to talk to each other. Video his optional but appreciated as it makes communication easier. The podcast is audio only, though. So need to put on makeup and get the nice dresses out of the closet. Nobody (other than me) will ever see you.
  4. There’s no fixed time limit. We can talk as long or as little as you feel like. I usually plan for an hour of recording time, but if we’re talking about food for 3h then so be it.
  5. No preparation needed. I know you’re probably wondering what you’re gonna talk about. And wrecking your brain as to what topics you might wanna bring up. Obviously I’m not gonna stop you from doing that but it’s not required. I’m really easy to talk with and we’re just gonna have a conversation. Just be there and the rest will happen organically.
  6. The show is generally PG, but if you like to swear, or it just happens to come out, don’t worry about it. I like doing that too. I’ll just slap an “explicit” tag on the episode and that’s it. Don’t censor yourself.

Please feel free to reach out any time you have questions. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have: [email protected]

Again, thank you so much for being a guest on my show. Looking forward to our episode

Patrice
